I’d have to play through the first one first. Maybe wait a bit for the price to go down for DR2, and then pick it up on ebay. I dont have 60 bones to put up for that. Im already spent on Mass Effect 2 , Bioshock 2, and Dantes Inferno.
I think a big problem with games is that you don’t have to play the original to enjoy the sequel. In the movie industry you have to. Thus it makes Hollywood more money. The game industry lacks this incentive because usually sequels improve upon the gameplay of the original.
I agree completely. Game developers (hopefully) learn from mistakes and actually absorb feedback making their sequels (again..hopefully) alot better.

I just recommended mass effect to my friend back in august when he bought it and instead of buying a new one he just took mine and has not returned it.
