My first computer build – Timelapsed
This is a video of my first computer build. Price – aprox. 2400U$D or 1750€uro, at the time of purchase. It includes unboxing and installation of: The Antec 1200 case, ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Motherboard, Intel Core i7 920 CPU, 6GB of Corsair DDR3 1600 MhZ RAM, Zalman 9900 CPU cooler, Corsair HX1000W PSU. About non-modular vs. modular PSU’s – watch this video for a more thorough explanation: www.youtube.com The Powersupply was the Issue to why I could not install Windows 7. I switched my first PSU – TX 950W to the HX1000W PSU, and the Windows 7 installation was successful. Temperatures: – Motherboard average: 37 C, in a room temp of 27 C. Or 30 C in a room temp of 19 C. – CPU IDLE: 38 C, in a room temp of 27 C. Or 32 C in a room temp of 19 C. – CPU 100%: 65-70 C in a room temp of 27 C. Or 55-62 C in a room temp of 19 C. – GPU IDLE: 39 C in a room temp of 27 C. Or 33 C in a room temp of 19 C. – GPU 100%: 68 C in a room temp of 27 C. Or 64 C in a room temp of 19 C. Crysis 1600×1200, all set on very high: A maximum of 74 C, in a room temperature of 20 C.
