Subaru Outback – Kelley Blue Book Car Review

FOR MORE CAR VIDEOS & REVIEWS CHECK OUT www.kbb.com Subaru Outback. While many vehicles claim they serve people with Active Lifestyles, the Subaru Outback is one of the few that can actually fulfill the promise projected by its rugged outdoor image. Based on the Legacy Sedan platform, the Outback receives added ground clearance, protective side cladding and a number of accessories designed to carry all manner sporting equipment. Although offered only in wagon form, the Outback trims range from no-nonsense to near luxury. A choice of two engines and standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive make the Outback the obvious choice for the adventurous anti-SUV crowd. the forester isn’t topheavy and it’s cheaper too. Awesome handling too. Why the outback the forester beats in in every category exept luxury

  • sanmusa:

I am a long time Forestr fan and I hate the new one, it looks like a Rav 4 and it isn’t a wagon anymore, it’s a SUV. I am buying a new Outback this week to replace my 4 year old Forester.

  • JewTimes2:

You hate it cause it’s an SUV? It’s the same under the hood it just has alot more leg room and a design to apeal to the public the old one didn’t look as good. A rav4 looks way different they are completely different lol but all compact suv’s look a little bit alike. The rav4 and the outlander look alike the forester is different it is way better than the old one. Subaru needed an suv. If you like wagons then ya sure the outback is like the old forester but more stylish I like the new forester

  • JewTimes2:

they are awesome because of the great gas milage

  • sanmusa:

Yes, I don’t like SUVs and I don’t like the Forester. My opinion doesn’t detract from the fact that the new Forester is an excellent vehicle like any Subaru I can think of, and it is exactly what Subaru needed: a car that sheds some of its quirky image so that non Subaru people might want to buy a Subaru. I own 4 Subarus and like I said, I m replacing my old Forester with an Outback. Whle I loved the 03-08 Foresters, the 09 just doesn’t move me.

  • bobbykrepek:

Is’nt the venza a competator of da outback?

  • youmils03:

Standard features include air conditioning, interior air filter, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, and outside-temperature indicator.

  • djkasdjkasdjdjdj:

the venza looks so damn ugly!!

  • bewd6797:

    Is this a luxry wagon?

  • BM2254:

I had a Subaru once, but it cost like hell with new bearings and joints. Very plastic intreor! But it runs ok!

  • allclassics:

This is older version video and not NEW 2010 Model

  • Bunnykind3Sidekick:

the front seats are HORRIBLE, but otherwise it’s a great car for it’s price.

  • Necrolemus:

bad for me when i buy one, ima destroy it offroad

  • hcronos:

just bought the 3.6R yesterday. man o man i love this car–i mean wagon. first time suburu owner and i’m loving it… suv sucks

  • misterwipedown:

Venza is a much better car. I have owned Subaru’s for 10 years and this thing is way behind the Toyota. Such a shame, but for the money the Venza just kills it.

  • agent0295:

i hear see people talking about veza it is nothing compared tu a subaru

  • tankedengine:

    ‘Offered only in wagon form’
What other form would you like? An Outback coupe?
Don’t be stupid. Kelley Blue Book your “reviewing” is very poor.
Also, who let that woman out of the kitchen!?

  • eltoro13:

@tankedengine actually there was an outback on the sedan platform
