Panasonic Viera 42″ Plasma Review

This is a review for the Panasonic Viera Plasma 720p TV. This is a good TV for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone on a budget. Sorry for the crappy quality and i know i need a tripod lol.

  • frankore:

If i order the hd box is it better than the normal box or I still have to buy the hd channels , thanx

  • thakornkid:

How is the glare on these plasma sets with that antiglare screen? I mean I know you might get some glare if the sun is beating on it, but how bad is the glare when your playing a game or watching a movie during the day? I’m still trying to decide whether to go Plasma or LCD in two weeks. I have a 360 and burn in CAN be a problem if you play it for too long at a time, but I dont plan on playing more than 4 hours at a time, then shutting it of for a while and maybe resuming.

  • thakornkid:

Also, how do the 360 games look? I havent really ever played a game in HD yet, but is it a drastic change from a standard to an HDTV?

  • Stonecold943:

If you get the hd box you should get some hd channels for free but if you want all the good channels you gotta get the full hd signal package from your cable company

  • DeadEyeSprout:

@thakornkid Yes, after playing on a 60″ 1080p TV for over a year…my friends tv looks like shit. The picture is just so much sharper with hdmi

  • koocooman:

    lol, your dog is funny

  • iKiwiMetalHead:

Dude, I know in the video the TV seemed like it reflected shit loads of light – does it reflect lots of light like a CRT TV, or was just the camera do you think?

  • jambub:

    ur dog loves ur tv!!

  • renatogilaj97:

If I buy this TV and use an HDMI cord for the PS3, will blu ray and ps3 games be in 1080p? Thanks and someone please reply!! :)

  • cipiripper:

    Uuuum… aaammm… aaaaam… uuum… do less drugs.

  • AlmostPerfectProd:

@cipiripper Why do you say that?

  • AlmostPerfectProd:

@thakornkid Once you go HD you won’t go back.

  • AlmostPerfectProd:

@frankore I am not sure how the company works in your area, just give them a call and ask them.

  • AlmostPerfectProd:

@renatogilaj97 No it won’t. Well this exact TV won’t because the TV is only 720p.

  • AlmostPerfectProd:

@iKiwiMetalHead It was just the camera. It reflects hardly any light. There is still a small glare if you have a light shining directly on it but it is still 10 times better than a CRT.

  • iKiwiMetalHead:

@AlmostPerfectProd Lol thank goodness for that =)

  • cipiripper:

@AlmostPerfectProd you do a lot of “uuuum”, “ammm”, “mmmm” in your speech, and the main cause of ums in speech is weed. :)

  • skyninjabot:

good review, but wheres the Model number?

  • nobatadared:

Does the tv audio out ports? Because I’m planning on using an hdmi cable(instead of component cables) to plug my xbox into it, and if it doesnt have very good audio I’d want to hook up my own speakers.

  • ResidentG33k:

@frankore Yes even though its only 720p, your hd signal will be a lot better than 420p that standard definition is. Get the HD. However not all channels are HD

  • badboy007007006:

    got this one
