@ps3or360idontknow He did not kill himself at the end… play the game again if you somehow managed to miss the whole ending. He was about to kill himself, but the original snake (big boss) decided to show up at the last possible minute and convinced snake that life was worth living, even the little time he had left.
I think it sucks that nobody has an own opinion everybody just repeats what a review said and don’t try the game out I never played a mgs before i just got mgs4 and i must say its the best game i have ever played thumbs up!!
wow, finally someone who says Ocarina of Time isn’t the best game ever. even as a HUGE Zelda fan, that comment always annoys me. but, if I get a PS3, should this be my first Metal Gear game?
Yet another Japanese game gets a 10 out of 10 from IGN. I don’t think America or France games got a 10 from IGN yet -_- Japan has video games and anime. They are the king of creativety…………!
@DestinyHeroFlamer definately. but if your gonna play metal gear online, you have to download the patches and it will take like half a day. but the single player alone is worth the money. also if you dont know the backstory, theres a thing called the Metal Gear Database available for free on the playstation network store. it tells you everything you need to know i used the database cuz mgs4 was my first metal gear game :P
@Booine7227 Dude just stop now…IGN won’t admit it but they got paid to say this was perfect. Same thing with GTA. Why do you think MGS4 had reviewers delay their reviews? I think this game is perfect but it’s not because IGN likes Japanese games over American, it’s because they accept their payroll..Do you think Halo 3 was forgiven for a shit campaign by online only? They wish…
@DestinyHeroFlamer NO. It’s way better to start from 1 and get to 4. You need to learn the whole story or you’ll have NOOO IDEEAA what is going on with “nano-machines” and Snake’s body and history. I personally like 3 the most.

a lot of people are complaining about the cut scenes being too long, but if you press pause you have the option of skipping them

@TheGrandleathal i would say MGS4 and ME2 are equal but i love the two franchises :D
