i have a fake WEP200 but its not made in china. its made in KOREA. the funny part is, its labeled as the H200 and where the Samsung logo is below the button, it says Bluetooth. its sucks. but i got it for free. so meh.
like those chinese bastards would put “made in china” actually on the shit. why dont they just tell the whole world that its a fake version? also make sure it doesnt say MADE IN KOBEA. now adays chinese makes the fake products with the actual brand names on them. bastards.
every south korean brand samsung, LG, hyundai, lg daewoo.kia hynix fila corporation. all have protection by the government to now allow fake products to enter, or even be made in korea. these chinese dudes are totally breaking the law u cant fucking put Made in ___. country if that country didnt fucking make it. shitters. i’ve seen some chinese themselves think that samsong is korean..ROFLS.. they fool themselves.
I’ve bought 7 or 8 WEP200s (keep putting them through the washer, dryer, or other), and I just bought my first fake. I’ve actually already detailed all of the same things you did, before seeing this video, but yours is actually a better fake than mine. On my box, they didn’t bother to put anything where the Samsung hologram is on the front. They didn’t bother to put a UPC sticker on the back, either. The box was all glossy and really flimsy, too, just like the plastic packaging.
Also, the sticker on the back of the charging box didn’t say Samsung on it and said “Made In China,” not “Made in Korea”, like it should. The little bluetooth symbol/icon on the top of the headset wasn’t there. The back side of the headset was cheap glossy plastic, not a quality mat finish. The edges on the unit were rough, too, unlike the smooth Samsung edges. Sometimes, the unit shows up as something other than WEP200, when pairing to my phone! The light blinks too brightly!
They didn’t even bother to counterfeit the manual. They just included a small, rectangular manual printed on cheap paper that only says “bluetooth,” and half of the 23 pages are printed in Chinese. The manual doesn’t say Samsung or WEP200 anywhere on it! The charger, an obvious fake, doesn’t say Samsung on it and only provides a 500ma current, not the 700ma of the originals. There’s more, too….
Other than that, I’ll not that Samsung actually does produce more than one shape of charger.
