Why would they put so much into a camera? Most people buy a phone for the typical texting/media/calling features. If you want a full feature camera, go buy a DSLR.
@devinsipodhelp ….The iPhone 3Gs only has a 3.2 megapixel camera, of coarse this thing is going to take better pictures and videos….

more megapixel doesnt necessarily mean better pictures if u r not going 2 print them.
The iphone takes better pictures that a lot of phone out there with more megapixels.

mega pixel affects your video quality dude…. alot
@BannyBunch Depends on what resolution you are recording. 720P is something like 1.5 mega pixels and 1080P is something like 2.1 Mega pixels. You won’t find a phone that can record anywhere near its mega pixel rating and the best phones out don’t record past 720P.
