It could be only two cables with the mixamp if you have the rechargable battery pack along with restricting the talking on xbox live

Can you plug this headset into an ipod or something for use as regular headphones. so just one wire directly to the ipod?
chilla which one sounds better out of the astro a40s and x41s? i have the x41s and tritton ax pro. the tritton ax pro owns the x41 but what about astro and x41s?

Yes you can, if you watch pro events, some plug Ipods in while playing cause they like music while they play

@qwertzfog Astro A40 I have them and my friend has the AX PRO and they are not as good as mine.
Do you hear Ninja on Mw2 with this headset?
@DardanK92 u cant hear ninja pro at all on anything if anyone tells you that they can hear it they’re lying because it makes zero sound
@DardanK92 Yes, you can even hear ninja with turtle beaches but barely.

@blablablah5123 no ninja reduces the noise to 25%… so yes u can hear em, especially with sitrep pro coz it adds a 4x multiplier to enemy footsteps so ninja players will make 100% the noise they’re ment to and non nina players will make 400% of the noise the would normally make.

I want an Astro owner to tell me something. If you’re playing mw2, does it help you play better? and while you’re playing, the wires arent a problem right?
Do you know if the bxr edition will be on the site again or was that just a one time offer?
I’m thinking about getting a new gaming headset but also a nice headset for my ipod so i can go outside and show off my kickass headset. And im wondering if the Astro A40 is a good choice since its looks well big.
