Wow, thanks for the kudos! I’m just getting started here, so if you like you can subscribe (if you haven’t already if so thanks!) and keep up to date with any vids I produce.

    you’re cool…thanks

  • iafriedman:

Your review is the best one I have ever seen. It was so good that at first I thought it was a professional ad (which it is not). In addition, your voice is perfect for multimedia. I suggest you actually do this professionally. Thanks again for the entertaining and informative review. Your choice to answer, in great detail, by an email was a smart idea. I just got my SD3500 this week.

Great review!!! Learned a lot. You ought to do this full time. The only voice I have heard that is as good as yours was your father’s — but then he was one of the stars of radio drama years ago. You’ve got SOUND DNA, kid!

so, if i were to get this camera for makeup tutorials…. if i wanted to show a color, would i have to make several movies? as in start stop start stop?

  • leifthor415:

Thanks everyone for your comments and ratings! @polkadot – Well I hope I answered your question over email, that like I mention in the video, digital cameras short of the Canon Rebel T2i don’t auto focus once the video is recording. Thanks @jaronbs though I don’t think I hold a candle to what my dad’s voice was.

  • TheNoodlebox:

good review leifthor…was ust wondering..what do you think is better, SD3500IS or SX210IS??please respond

  • leifthor415:

@noodlebox – That’s what makes buying a digital camera so difficult these days. With SO MANY options, it becomes a weighing game to try and get as many of your wish list as you can. The SX210IS is better if you like to zoom (14x) alot and has a 28mm lens (standard).

    This is a great review!

  • Razear:

I’m upgrading from my SD890IS and was looking at the SD980IS. But looks like Canon is phasing that model out. Now that the SD3500IS is out, I’m really interested in it but not sure if the hefty $280 price tag for a high-end point and shoot is worth it.

  • leifthor415:

Thanks everyone for Subscribing and your like ratings and comments! @Razear – With all digital cameras now sporting video ability as well, “point and shoot” is a term we may see disappear soon. It’s the 24mm lens, Canon’s amazing color catching abilities, and the HD video that sold me on this camera.

  • IamDickee:

    Dude,

This is THE best damn camera review I have watched on Youtube and lemme tell ya… I take a ton of photos and vids… and watch/read a ton of reviews online.

Kudos…. looking forward to watching your other reviews. Keep up the great work!

  • guccigrl22:

  • tomjungbluth:

    Outstanding review!!!

  • MadameBeautiful:

what macro lens would u recommend for this camera???????????

  • leifthor415:

Thanks again everyone for your kind comments, liking, and subcribing! If you like the camera, please consider buying it using the link in the video’s description. It’s a great price and I get a small commission if you do helping to support more videos like this. @MadamaB, the camera is a point and shoot, so it’s only got one lens. There’s a setting on the camera for Macro shooting, which this camera did really well with.

Fantastic review. But just one thing. One of the most important things I look for in a review, is a demonstration of shutter lag. It’s important to see what happens when you pick up the camera to get that important shot. I have a camera that I would not have purchased if I had seen how long it took to get that first shot.

  • TheOneFromMW2:

I like the girls in it.

  • speedracerduck:

    really good video
