@BKsMassive Yeah, but still temps are always going to be higher than room temp. At least 22-23C

@Yambag345 Well im not 100% on this. Benchmarks are getting harder and harder to trust. Ive seen benchmarks where this thing owned everything and then I have seen the same benchmarks done by someone else and this thing is owned by everything even the i5. I think I may just buy one and see for myself how fast this beast is.

..If you have a 125W motherboard and a 125W CPU and You Overclock ,What Happens? It generally tolerates the Overclock or it shuts down? ….I was an Intel Guy for years but I like the AMD prices ….

I’ll stick with my x3 8250e till I can track down a 65w quad Phenom 2. I prefer low volt and low watt samples.
Overclocking settings please?
@EliteGoneWild I have the 1090t running on the MSI 790FX. it did require a BIOS update, but it as easy and only took a few seconds to download and update.
I’m running mine with 8GBs RAM, a gigabyte 5770, 40gb SSD for current games, and its smooth as silk.
Also, people asking about overclock, remember this CPU will OC itself on demand to 3.6 GHz. Not really a need to OC it unless you want to of course :P
Anyway, great CPU. Me and my wallet are happy, considering the cost of the I7

@mrjamesb56 If you want to overclock you need a better motherboardthan 125w but with these cpus you can overclock and decrease the voltage, I have a 1055T with a 600mhz overclock undervolted at 1.275v from standart 2.8ghz 1.35v , turbo off
these cpus go to 125w in turbo mode because in turbo mode the voltage increases to 1.475v , and if your lucky you might get a cpu that does 4ghz at 1.35v the standart voltage
